Chinese shipping companies only work with addresses written in Chinese characters.
If you submit your address written in pinyin or English, we will have to try and translate it to Chinese
by ourselves. This usually works out but in certain cases it is not possible to determine the exact address
as there are multiple addresses in the city with the same street name in pinyin (1 pinyin / English transcription)
corresponds with a large set of Chinese character combinations. It can also be the case that there is not
enough information available for us to find out which characters the pinyin represents. Submitting your address
in Chinese characters will minimize any possible delays or complications with package delivery.

The only purpose of asking you for a phone number is to provide a contact point for
scheduling the delivery time.
For customers in China, the phone number is essential for package delivery! Chinese express companies deal
with a big amount of packages and to make the delivery as time-efficient as possible the couriers first
call the customer to check if he / she is available to receive the package. Without a confirmation
couriers will usually not try to deliver the package. The phone number is also important in case the courier
has a problem with entering the building / garden or needs additional information about the address.
Since couriers in China don't speak English and the shipping companies usually don't provide any services for English speakers, it
might be necessary to ask a friend or colleague to help you communicate with the shipping company if you don't speak Chinese.
It may take up to 24 hours until the shipping database gets initially updated. For packages shipped by Hong Kong Post standard shipping the initial update may take even longer. Unfortunately, we are not able to influence the updating speed.

asked question: "Where can I buy contact lenses in China?". As the Chinese contact lens market is slightly
